Your First Week at Tech
Parking: All parking is free without permit. Additional parking can be found in a lot on College Street near Brown Hall.

ID: Take proof of employment from the Human Resources Office to Registrar’s Office. Photo ID will be created for you on the spot.
Keys: Obtain Key Request form from your department office. If you have any questions, please discuss them with your department's administrative assistant.
Return the form to Key Control. Keys will be given or ordered as needed.

Information Technology and Communications (ITC)
ITC provides support for computers in some computer labs (others are managed by ACT - see below), campus email, and network access (wi-fi and wired) across campus.
A variety of software is available--for both Windows and Linux--on any ITC lab machines.

Library
Access Your Library Account
At the link below, click on Set/reset password. You will be prompted to enter your Banner ID and an email will be sent to your NMT email, prompting you to create a password.
Your library account and password is separate from your BanWeb account.

To add materials for course reserve, fill out the form below and library staff will be happy to assist you. If the materials requested are in the library’s collection, items will be available within 48 business hours.

You may request library instruction for your students by filling out the form below. In order to ensure that instruction sessions are relevant to your class, we ask that you make requests at least two weeks in advance so that the librarian(s) have time to prepare and collaborate with you.

To sign up
Go to www.getrave.com.
Type in “New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.”
Click Register on the right side of the page.
Fill out personal information. Be sure to use your Tech email address.
You will then receive a confirmation email and text.
