SKEEN LIBRARY IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE


 Online resources are still available (you must have an active library account in order to access these materials). For more information regarding access to the library's resources, you can chat/IM with a Skeen Library staff member (chat icon in bottom right corner of this page), contact us at nmtlib@nmt.edu, or text us at 575-214-7621

Our hours of availablity are posted on our main web page.

Unfortunately, since the building is closed, we are not monitoring our phone line, and voicemails are not being checked regularly. If you leave a message on the line, there are no assurances as to when your call will be returned.  

  1. No lending or checkout of physical materials. We urge our patrons to use our online sources as much as possible. Because the building is closed, patrons cannot directly access the physical collections. We are exploring more options for offering safe retrieval and access to our print resources. 
  2. Electronic ILL only - no physical items.  Library ILL services will be restricted to electronic only - any new physical item requests (either lending or borrowing) will be denied. We will continue to honor requests where the items can be delivered digitally, such as scanned articles and book chapters. Learn more about ILL here!

  3. Electronic Resources still available online!  All electronic library resources will still be available through your library account/login. Please make sure that your Library Account is active so you can access all of our digital resources remotely. If your account is expired or your access is restricted, please contact the Circulation Desk for assistance (chat, email, text). 

  4. Room reservations requests are suspended. Because the library is closed to the public, we will not be taking room reservation requests until further notice.

  5. Library-sponsored events are canceled. Events such as Engage the World and Popcorn Thursdays have been canceled until further notice. For OSL events, please visit the OSL website for more information.
