The New Mexico Higher Education Department (NMHED) has allocated $770k+ to support tuition and fees for graduate students at NMT. To be eligible fo the scholarship, students must have graduated form a New Mexico high school and are pursuing a STEM graduate degree full time. This is part of a $10M distribution from NMHED to New Mexico state Universities granting graduate degrees.

Eligible students will receive an award amount no greater than $7,200 per academic year. The Office of Graduate Studies, is able to identify most eligible students and contact them regarding the scholarship. If you think that you qualify and we have not reached out to you yet, please contact us.
