Undocumented and DACA Students at New Mexico Tech

NMT welcomes the application and enrollment of undocumented students, as well as students who recieve benefits under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Applying as A DACA/Undocumented student

First year applicants and transfer applicants should visit their respective sections of the new student website for details about requirements, deadlines and more.

Financial Assistance

DACA and undocumented students are eligable for New Mexico Tech merit scholarships. All New Mexico residents qualify for the New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship regardless of citizenship status. The financial aid scholarships page also includes scholarships other scholarships that do not require U.S. citizenship. 

Applicants with extenuating circumstances may be eligible for a waiver of the $ application fee. You can apply for a fee waiver by visiting
