Distinguished Alumni Series

Established during the academic year 2017/18, we invite one department alumni back to campus each year to give a department seminar on work that distinguished them during their career, meet with current students, faculty and Bureau staff, and generally reconnect with their alma mater. The lectures sponsored through alumni donations, and recorded and linked to below. If you, as an alumni, want to nominate someone, please contact the department chair or other faculty with name, contact information and a short note on what distinguished the nominee in their career. The EES & Bureau seminar organizers assemble a short list for faculty and Bureau staff to vote on. We aim to have the alumni speak at the Thursday seminar during 49ers week each year.
