Distance Education Students

Book and Article Delivery


Distance Education students may request book(s) owned by the NMT Library, through our interlibrary loan (ILL) request system. ILL will send the book(s) to the student's address free of charge. It is the student's responsibility to return the books to the library in the provided postage-paid package.

If the NMT Library does NOT own the book, students can place an order through their local library's Interlibrary Loan Office.


Distance Education students may also order articles. For the quickest access, first check Worldcat (online catalog), or Article Search (EBSCO Discovery) for articles electronically available through the NMT Library. Students can access articles from electronic journals directly by using EZProxy or the VPN Server with a valid TCC account. See Off-Campus Access for more information on connecting to the library's online resources.

If you cannot access the article electronically, request the article through LLiad, our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request system. ILL will send the article electronically or mail the printed article to the student's address free of charge.
