It's New Mexico Tech's day of community service! This event gives NMT students and staff an opportunity to help and give back the City of Socorro.

Since 1982 The Big Event has become the largest
student-run community service project in the United States!

 

The Big Event 2023 Schedule
8:00 am - 8:50 am - Lite Breakfast & Opening Remarks
In front of Fidel Center (between Fidel & Workman)

9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Community Service
Sites: City of Socorro Trash Pick-up, and
Cottonwood Charter School Property clean-up
Transportation, gloves, and supplies will be provided

12:15 pm - 1:30 pm - Lunch on the lawn
between the NMT Dining Hall & West Hall
