Info for Parents

Hey Parents! 

Parent's Packet

What you need To Know:

Students in an electronics lab.We are so excited that your child is interested in CS Buzzcamp! We know sending your child away to camp, especially if it's their first time, can be a big deal. We are here to provide a safe, encouraging, educational environment throughout the duration of Buzzcamp.  This is a 5 day/5 night camp, where kids can get a taste of the college experience in a very controlled environment. Buzzcamp attendees will stay overnight in NMT dorms, eat many of their meals in the campus cafeteria, and attend their classes in one of our state of the art labs! We have provided some FAQ's, but understand you may have more questions! Please feel free to contact us, and continue to check back as our site will be updated with more information the closer camp gets.

What to Pack:

Kids will need 5 days of comfortable summer clothes. (we know it's hot out and shorts and tank tops are welcome, but please keep general school dress codes in mind when packing)

Kids will need their own toiletries including 

Image of swimmer in Tech swimming poolKids will need a swimming suit (String binikis are not permitted in the NMT pool area, please keep swimwear appropriate, we want kids to be comfortable and have fun!)

Sunscreen and Bugspray are suggested!

What We Need From You:

We want to make sure we are providing your child with the best possible experience, please let us know if there are any dietary restriction, allergies, or-references so that we can accommodate appropriately!

Does your child have any medical needs?

This would include, Diabetes, Asthma, Allergies Requiring Epilepsy Pens etc. These are all things we need to know. We are happy to accommodate everyone and NMT prides itself on it's inclusivity, and does not discriminate based on gender, sex, race, or ability!
