On the night of May 25, a Nevada man heard a loud boom and bright flash in his peaceful neighborhood. He turned to the local Fox TV station for help. They examined the footage from the man’s several cameras. Still no clue.

Reporter Joe Vigil turned to NMT's VP of Special Projects (which includes EMRTC) Dr. Van Romero. He watched the video several times and was able to discern the launch sounds of a very large firework, and then the subsequent boom and flash.
