To qualify for the New Mexico Tech First Year Student Success Scholarship a student must meet the following criteria:

• New Mexico Resident
• Completed the 2022-2023 FAFSA

The First Year Student Success Scholarship will give students an additional $1,000 grant if their unmet financial need, as calculated per FAFSA results, exceeds $1,000 (includes all forms of aid offered). 

Award determinations will be made after March 1st of every year.
