Guest Lecture - Summer Science Program

The campus community is invited to a guest lecture hosted by the Summer Science Program. Dr. Janice Bishop, senior research scientist with the SETI Institute, will present "Cluse to the Surface and Subsurface of Mars Through Orbital Remote Sensing." 2:30 p.m. in Weir 102.

SSP is an immersive six-week program for exceptional high school students. They work in experimental science, designed to challenge and inspire talented rising seniors from around the world. Working in teams of three, participants at NMT complete an astrophysics research project from beginning to end: imaging and characterizing a near-earth asteroid.
