NMT Fiber Arts Club
We have rebranded our club as “Stitch and Bitch” and all Techies are welcome to join our meetings.
6 to 8 p.m. in the lounge by the Fire and Ice coffee shop in the Fidel Center
Everyone is welcome to join our informal twice-a-week meetings. If you are fiber-curious, come learn about all the fun arts and crafts you can accomplish.
We have members who knit, crochet, weave, quilt, embroider, sew, macramé, braid, needle felt, and many other fiber arts.
Our meetings are meant to be a time to relax and indulge in any or all fiber arts hobbies. Sometimes we have Techies teaching new crafts or techniques, but these lessons are typically one-on-one, from one club member to another.
The club has materials and tools available for newcomers, and we always welcome beginners and usually have someone available to teach a given craft.
Our meetings are always open to any interested students. No registration required and everyone is welcome to show up at any meeting and join us. Our informal drop-in meetings are twice a week, so join us when you feel the urge to join the fun, learn a new skill, and commisserate with other Techies.
