The Americas Conference of Universities in STEM Education

 

In November 2018, the NMT-Research Division established the Americas Conference of Universities in STEM Education. The goal is to collaborate in research STEM areas with universities in Latin America. Representatives of 12 universities attended the initial event in 2018. 

2019, 2020, and 2021 annual conferences took place in Mexico, with the sponsorship of the State of Mexico, Universidad Mexiquense del Bicentenario. During the three events, we had the participation of more than 15,000 attendees from more than 100 universities in Latin America. The 2020 Conference was a distance event, and the 2021 Conference was in a dual format or hybrid event: face-to-face and virtual meetings.

The 2022 Annual Conference will be hosted by the Universidad Politecnica de Tlaxcala in Mexico this November 16-18, 2022. If you want to attend the conference, all registration fees will be waived for the NMT community and affiliated institutions.
